The former international swingman Abdesslem Dekkiche (194-1986) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Mousaab Kaoub chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The former international center Rabah Zitoun (211-1988) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 9 blocks. Widad's coach Reda Hachemi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. USM Blida have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Widad at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. They share it with Chabab Sportif.

It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mouloudia. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Mustapha Braik notched 25 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort. Chabab Sportif's coach Farouk Saifi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds by Mohamed Touati did not help to save the game for Mouloudia. Chabab Sportif moved-up to second place, which they share with Widad. Loser Mouloudia dropped to the fourth position with ten games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 26: bottom-ranked Moustakbal beat CR Dar Beida on the road 66-50. Taradji Amel lost to USM Alger on its own court 57-64. NA Hussein Dey unfortunately lost to US Setif in a road game 67-82.
The most impressive performance of 26th round was 21 points and 13 rebounds by Ouail Gadaoui of US Setif.
