The most important game in the last round took place in Blida between second ranked Chabab Sportif (16-8) and seventh ranked USM Blida (14-10) on Saturday night. USM Blida have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with USM Alger and CR Beni Saf. USM Blida is looking forward to face higher ranked Rouiba (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. D1 top team - Nadi Basket (19-5) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat thirteenth ranked NA Hussein Dey (5-19) 90-81. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of NA Hussein Dey. The winners were led by Mohamed Bensalah (200-2002, college: Paul Quinn) who scored that evening 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Hichem Dekakene supported him with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Nadi Basket's coach Mohamed Yahya allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 23 points and 8 rebounds by American-Togolese guard Jimmy Williams (196-1986, college: ABU) did not help to save the game for NA Hussein Dey. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-5 record. NA Hussein Dey at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 19 games lost. Nadi Basket will play against CSC Djasr (#9) in Constantine in the next round and are hoping to win another game. NA Hussein Dey will play on the road against US Setif (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Moustakbal lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. CSC Djasr will meet league's leader Nadi Basket in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Moustakbal will play against CR Beni Saf (#8) and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 24: USM Alger won against CR Beni Saf on the opponent's court 67-55. Rouiba managed to outperform US Setif in a home game 70-59. Widad managed to beat Taradji Amel on the road 77-71.

Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rouiba made 7 blocks.
