The most important game in the last round took place in Beni Saf between second ranked Widad (14-8) and fourth ranked CR Beni Saf (14-8) on Saturday night. Widad was defeated by CR Beni Saf in a tough game on the road 64-68. CR Beni Saf made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Widad turnovers. French-Mali guard Mamadou Keita (192-1993) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Imad Didi (182-2004) chipped in 17 points. CR Beni Saf's coach Didi Said used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The former international center Rabah Zitoun (211-1988) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. CR Beni Saf have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Widad.
Bottom-ranked NA Hussein Dey managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the five-game losing streak. This time they won against sixth-ranked USM Alger 71-61. Worth to mention a great performance of Moroccan guard Mohamed Hasnaoui (192-1994) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds. Nabil Saidi contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Ahmed Boutiba (188-1995) replied with 23 points and 5 rebounds for USM Alger. NA Hussein Dey (4-18) moved-up to thirteenth place. USM Alger at the other side dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with USM Blida.
Leader Nadi Basket delivered the eighteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 12th ranked US Setif (7-15) 74-62. Hichem Dekakene had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Ouail Gadaoui responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nadi Basket (18-4) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Loser US Setif keeps the twelfth place with 15 games lost.

Rest of the games of round 22 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Chabab Sportif defeated CR Dar Beida in Tlemcen 62-56. Rouiba beat Moustakbal at home 79-61. Mouloudia lost to CSC Djasr on the opponent's court 68-76. USM Blida managed to outperform Taradji Amel in a home game 52-42.



CR Dar Beida - Chabab Sportif 56-62

There was no surprise in Dar El-Beida where 10th ranked CR Dar Beida (10-12) was defeated by third ranked Chabab Sportif (14-7) 62-56 on Saturday. Chabab Sportif outrebounded CR Dar Beida 58-33 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Chabab Sportif made 11 blocks. Mustapha Braik scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Chadian center Abakar Oumar (208-2002) chipped in 14 points, 16 rebounds and 6 blocks during the contest. At the losing side Mali forward Traore Namakan (192-1998) responded with 26 points and Abdesselem Semrouni produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Chabab Sportif moved-up to second place. Loser CR Dar Beida keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost.
