The game in Dar El-Beida was quite interesting. Seventh ranked CR Beni Saf (11-8) played at the court of 8th ranked CR Dar Beida (9-10). CR Beni Saf defeated CR Dar Beida 71-60 on Tuesday. CR Beni Saf forced 20 CR Dar Beida turnovers and had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. 28 personal fouls committed by CR Dar Beida helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Houssam Moussa (187-1997) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and French-Mali guard Mamadou Keita (192-1993) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. CR Beni Saf's coach Didi Said used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Sif Benbrahim with 18 points and 6 rebounds. CR Beni Saf moved-up to sixth place. CR Dar Beida at the other side dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with CSC Djasr. CR Beni Saf are looking forward to face Taradji Amel (#11) in Draria in the next round where they are favorite. Third ranked Widad (13-6) crushed at home 7th ranked Rouiba (10-8) by 21 points 88-67, which is the biggest margin this round. Forward Kadour Mtidji (190-1998) notched 31 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Rabah Zitoun supported him with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Widad's coach Reda Hachemi felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by guard Nacereddine Sahraoui (200-1995) did not help to save the game for Rouiba. Widad maintains third position with 13-6 record having just two point less than leader Nadi Basket. Rouiba at the other side keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. Widad will play against NA Hussein Dey (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rouiba will play against Mouloudia (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 18: NA Hussein Dey lost to Chabab Sportif on the opponent's court 51-61. Taradji Amel unfortunately lost to CSC Djasr in a home game 53-61. USM Blida managed to beat Moustakbal on the road 65-57.

Even 14 points by point guard Slimane Boumedfa (180-1999) did not help to save the game for Moustakbal. point guard Abdelwaheb Bounaas (180-1994) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
