Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Alger: USM Alger (#7) and Mouloudia (#5). USM Alger (9-7) won against visiting Mouloudia (9-7) 74-65. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Mehdi Zaim contributed with 9 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. Mustapha Adrar replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds for Mouloudia. USM Alger moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mouloudia and CR Beni Saf. Mouloudia lost third consecutive game.
Bottom-ranked NA Hussein Dey managed to get a third victory on Saturday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked CR Beni Saf 85-67. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 18-point difference proves that NA Hussein Dey was well-prepared to that game. Worth to mention a great performance of Rayan Hamdi who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. At the losing side Mamadou Keita responded with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. CR Beni Saf's coach Didi Said rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. NA Hussein Dey (3-13) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Moustakbal. CR Beni Saf at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Mouloudia and USM Alger.

Rest of the games of round 16 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Taradji Amel was defeated by US Setif in a road game 80-74. USM Blida beat CSC Djasr at home 76-58. Widad destroyed Moustakbal on the opponent's court 79-59. Rouiba managed to outperform CR Dar Beida in a home game 70-55.
