Very important is a home loss of second ranked Mouloudia (9-5) against fifth ranked Widad (9-5) on Friday night. Host Mouloudia was defeated by Widad in a tough game in Alger 62-70. Nabil Saidi notched 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort. NA Hussein Dey's coach Mohamed Saiak used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by Mohamed Zahaf did not help to save the game for USM Blida. NA Hussein Dey maintains fourteenth position with 2-12 record. USM Blida lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with eight games lost. They share the position with CSC Djasr and Taradji Amel. NA Hussein Dey will meet higher ranked CSC Djasr (#11) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. USM Blida will play against Mouloudia in Alger and hope to secure a win.

Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rouiba have an impressive five-game winning streak.
