Kaci's 26 points give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old point guard Abdelmalek Kaci (180-PG-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for Moustakbal Ouled Chebel and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had the game-high 26 points adding four rebounds and two assists for Moustakbal in his team's victory, helping them to edge out CSC Djasr (#10, 5-6) 90-88. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Moustakbal maintains the 12th position in Algerian league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 8 games and recorded just three victories. Kaci turned to be Moustakbal's top player in his first season with the team. Kaci has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.1ppg. Kaci is in league's top in and averages solid 2.8spg.

Second best performed player last round was Hezil Yamame of Club Sportif Communal Djasr Constantine. He is a in his first season at CSC Djasr. In the last game Yamame recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 21 rebounds. Bad luck as CSC Djasr was edged by slightly lower-ranked Moustakbal (#12, 3-8) 90-88. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. CSC Djasr keeps 10th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. Yamame is a newcomer at CSC Djasr and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Moustakbal's star - guard Abdelnacer Labadi (183-PG-1996). Labadi scored 23 points and passed 4 assists. He was another key player of Moustakbal Ouled Chebel, helping his team with a 90-88 win against slightly higher-ranked CSC Djasr (#10, 5-6). Moustakbal can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Labadi he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Labadi has a very solid season. In 11 games in Algeria he scored 5.0ppg.
