D1 top team - Nadi Basket (10-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked NA Hussein Dey (1-10) in Staoueli 77-54. It was a great evening for who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. Abderraouf Benrighi helped adding 12 points and 7 rebounds. Abdelmalek Idir responded with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Nadi Basket have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-1 record. NA Hussein Dey lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with US Setif. Nadi Basket will play against CSC Djasr (#10) in Constantine in the next round and are hoping to win another game. NA Hussein Dey will play at home against US Setif and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Hezil Yamame came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds for CSC Djasr in the defeat. Moustakbal maintains twelfth place with 3-8 record. Loser CSC Djasr dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with USM Alger and Taradji Amel. Moustakbal will meet higher ranked CR Beni Saf (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CSC Djasr will play against the league's leader Nadi Basket (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 11: USM Blida was beaten by Chabab Sportif on the road 62-47. USM Alger lost to CR Beni Saf on its own court 78-81. Rouiba managed to outperform US Setif in a road game 78-69. Widad rolled over Taradji Amel at home 86-65.



Chabab Sportif - USM Blida 62-47

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Chabab Sportif (8-3) beat 5th ranked USM Blida (6-5) in Tlemcen 62-47 on Friday. Chabab Sportif dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to USM Blida's 12. Chabab Sportif forced 20 USM Blida turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Yacine Benyahya who led the winners and scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Mustapha Braik accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Mohamed Zahaf came up with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Mohamed Boudoumi added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for USM Blida in the defeat. USM Blida's coach Ahmed Ben Djabou rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Chabab Sportif. They maintain second place with 8-3 record having just two points less than leader Nadi Basket. Loser USM Blida dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with CR Dar Beida and Rouiba. Chabab Sportif will meet at home Widad (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. USM Blida will play against Rouiba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
