Ahly Benghazi inks Mohamed Harat

Defending champion Al Ahly Benghazi (D1) agreed terms with experienced 35-year-old Algerian small forward Mohamed Harat (198cm-1990). The last time (2023-2024) he played at Al Naser in UAE ULB league

He represented Algeria at the Afrobasket Championship in Rades (Tunisia) ten years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 16.9 ppg and had 6.1 rpg.
Harat is a quite experienced player. He has played also in Algeria (GS Petroliers), Bahrain (Al-Manama), Kuwait (Kuwait), Morocco, Qatar (Al Rayyan, Al Arabi and Al Shamal), Saudi Arabia (Al Fateh), Syria (Al Ittihad) and Libya (Al Ittihad Tri).
Harat's team finished as the regular season runner-up in Libyan League Group 1 in 2023. He was voted to the Afrobasket.com Libyan League All-Imports Team in 2023.
