Faycal Belkhodja signs at WA Boufarik

Defending champion Widad Boufarik (D1) landed experienced 36-year old international 192cm guard Faycal Belkhodja. Belkhodja played this summer at T.R.A. Draria. He helped them to make it to the Algerian League final. Belkhodja has been regularly called to Algerian Senior National Team since 2008.
He has spent his entire career in Algeria playing for two other teams: GS Petroliers and ASPTT Alger. Belkhodja won Algerian League championship title in 2009, 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the cup in 2013, 2017 and 2018.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at WA Boufarik.
