GS Kocidar (D1) added to their roster 26-year old DR Congolese international Malu Irebu (1998) for new 2024-25 season. She is the second foreign player in the roster as Brazilian Rebecca Akl signed here earlier.
She played last season at Equity Bank in Kenyan Premier League. She has been regularly called to the DR Congolese Senior National Team since 2023.
She has played also in DR Congo (CNSS). Irebu won Kenyan Premier League championship title in 2024.
Among many awards she was voted to Afrobasket.com All-FIBA African Women Basketball League Honorable Mention in 2023.
