Aix-Maurienne keeps Ammour for another season

Kamel Ammour

Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (ProB) re-signed 33-year-old double-passport holder Algeria 202cm forward Kamel Ammour for the new season. He played there last season. In 13 ProB games, he averaged 8.2ppg, 4.5rpg, and 1.5apg. He also played for another French team, Saint Chamond, earlier that season.
Ammour represented Algeria at the Afrobasket Championship in Rades (Tunisia) nine years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 3.4 ppg and had 2.1 rpg.
He has spent his entire career in France playing for eight other teams: Saint Quentin, Andrezieux, C'Chartres, St Clement, Brissac-Aubance, Tremblay, Kaysersberg, and Margny.
Ammour's team won the French NM1 Group B Regular Season in 2020. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French NM1 Honorable Mention in 2018.
