Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Algerians who are currently playing abroad.

Touhami Ghezzoul
Touhami Ghezzoul
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international center Touhami Ghezzoul (209-87, college: N.Dakota St., currently plays in Saudi Arabia). He could not help Al Salam (8-11) in their last game. Despite Ghezzoul's very good performance Al Salam was crushed 104-76 on the road by the higher-ranked (#3) Al Ittihad. He had a double-double by scoring 38 points and getting 16 rebounds in 37 minutes on the court. Ghezzoul's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Ghezzoul's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Ghezzoul averages: 19.1ppg, 15.9rpg, 2.2bpg, 2FGP: 52.9%, 3FGP: 22.2% and FT: 62.9% in 11 games he played so far. He played for the Algerian senior national team three years ago.

Mohamed Harat

#2. Second place goes to former international forward Mohamed Harat (198-90, currently plays in Saudi Arabia). Harat led Al Fateh to a victory over the closely-ranked Al Salam (8-11) 80-64 in the Saudi Arabian SBL last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Harat recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and getting 17 rebounds. He also added 4 assists. Al Fateh Al Hasa (11-8) is placed fifth in the SBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This season Harat has very high stats. He averages: 29.4ppg, 15.0rpg, 3.3apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 64.8%(210-324), 3FGP: 28.2% and FT: 69.1%. Former Groupe Sportif Petroliers Alger starter played for the Algerian national team in 2020.

Nadir Hifi
Nadir Hifi
#3. The Algerian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U16 international guard Nadir Hifi (190-2, currently plays in France). Hifi was not able to help Le Portel in their game against JDA Dijon (9-8) in the French Betclic ELITE ProA. He scored 8 points in only 12 minutes. Le Portel lost 72-86 in Dijon to the much lower-ranked (#10) JDA Dijon. This year Hifi averages only 2.8ppg and FT: 66.7% in six games. He has a dual citizenship: Algerian and French. Hifi played for the Algerian U16 national team five years ago.
