There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team, derby games, favorites losing the games and even winless team recording their first victory. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Undefeated GS Petroliers (3-1) recorded its first loss in Alger on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by top-ranked NAH Dey (4-0) 89-85. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of GS Petroliers. NAH Dey have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with WO Boufarik. Defending champion GS Petroliers keep the fourth position with one game lost.
Important game to mention about took place in Staoueli. Seventh ranked Staoueli (3-2) saved a 1-point derby victory at home edging second-best CRB Dar El-B. (3-2) 79-78 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CRB Dar El-B.. Staoueli moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated CRB Dar El-B.
El Eulma can celebrate finally their first win this season after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Olympi Batna (1-5) 88-64 on Sunday. El Eulma (1-4) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place, which they share with Rouiba CB. It was Olympi Batna's fourth loss in a row. They dropped to the fifteenth position with five games lost.
Undefeated leader IRB Arreridj delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they beat bottom-ranked AB Skikda (0-5) 68-51. Undefeated IRB Arreridj (6-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Newly promoted AB Skikda still closes the standings with five games lost.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Boufarik. Local WO Boufarik (4-0) outscored 8th ranked USS (3-3) 86-47 on Sunday night. WO Boufarik have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with NAH Dey. USS at the other side dropped to the ninth position with three games lost.

In the last game of round 6 USM Blida was crushed by Olympi Miliana in a road game 69-48.

AB Skikda - IRB Arreridj 51-68

Undefeated leader IRB Arreridj delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they beat bottom-ranked AB Skikda (0-5) 68-51. IRB Arreridj (6-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Newly promoted AB Skikda still closes the standings with five games lost.

Olympi Miliana - USM Blida 69-48

There was no surprise when 13th ranked USMB (2-4) was crushed on the road by eleventh ranked Olympi Miliana (2-4) 69-48 on Sunday. Olympi Miliana moved-up to tenth place, which they share with USM Blida. USMB lost third consecutive game.

Staoueli - CRB Dar El-B. 79-78

GS Petroliers celebrate 6th consecutive title - 5 days ago
GS Petroliers celebrate 2018/19 title as they had no difficulties in the Final game against NB Staoueli. GS Petroliers emerged to an easy 102-68 win as they had 59-34 halftime advantage. Earlier in the semifinals Groupe Sportif Petrolier overcame NA Hussein Dey 63-61, while NB Staoueli edged WA Boufarik 64-62. It was the 6th consecutive title for GS Petroliers. In 2013 CSM Constantine won the Play-offs after three year of dominance of GS Petroliers.   [read more]
