The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Staoueli as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Staoueli defeated 11th ranked NAH Dey at home 77-73. Staoueli have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with WA Boufarik. NAH Dey lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Ouargla. NAH Dey will play next round against strong IRB Arreridj trying to get back on the winning streak. Staoueli will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked CRB Dar El-B. in El-Beida.

The game in Eleulma supposed to be also quite interesting. Leader CRB Dar El-B. (5-0) played at the court of 7th ranked El Eulma (4-3). CRB Dar El-B. smashed El Eulma 91-70 on Wednesday. Undefeated CRB Dar El-B. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Loser El Eulma keeps the seventh position with three games lost. CRB Dar El-B. will face league's leader Staoueli at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. El Eulma will play against USS (#6) in Setif and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 7 USM Alger was beaten by USM Blida on the road 68-61.

GS Petroliers celebrate 6th consecutive title - 5 days ago
GS Petroliers celebrate 2018/19 title as they had no difficulties in the Final game against NB Staoueli. GS Petroliers emerged to an easy 102-68 win as they had 59-34 halftime advantage. Earlier in the semifinals Groupe Sportif Petrolier overcame NA Hussein Dey 63-61, while NB Staoueli edged WA Boufarik 64-62. It was the 6th consecutive title for GS Petroliers.
