GS Petroliers clinch D1 title - Jun 3, 2014

GS Petroliers are the D1 champions. They defeated CRB Dar El-Beida in the Finals series. GS Petrloliers earned a comfortable 91:73 victory in the first leg of the Finals. The stakes were high for the second game hosted by CRB Dar El-Beida.
CRB grabbed a 17:14 lead after ten minutes marking their highest ambitions. But all of those suffered a heavy blow in the second frame. GS Petroliers cut the deficit and soon jumped ahead. They rallied to a 36:29 halftime advantage. GS Petroliers did not surrender the deficit in the second half and rolled to 64:54 victory.


GS Petroliers earn Cup title - Jun 8, 2014

GS Petroliers completed the double this season as they clinched both League and Cup titles. The latter one came on Friday with a 70:59 victory over CSMC Constantine. Walid Hamma (182-G-85) stepped up with 13 points and 10 assists to pace the winners.
GS Petroliers grabbed a 17:13 lead after ten minutes. Abdesselem Dekkiche (194-G/F-86) drained a couple of three-pointers late in the first half to help GS Petroliers gain a 38:24 halftime lead. GS Petroliers piled up a 56:43 advantage heading into the fourth stanza. They did not surrender the lead in the final frame and sealed the winning outcome. The victory marked the fourth consecutive Cup title for GS Petroliers.
