Bravehearts Basketball Club - C.N.S.S. 42-66

Congo DR’s CNSS opened their Women’s Basketball League Africa campaign with an emphatic 66–42 victory over Malawi’s debutants Bravehearts, marking the first time in their four consecutive league participations that they have begun with a win. CNSS seized control early, racing to a 20–6 lead in the first quarter and extending their advantage to 36–14 by halftime. Although Bravehearts showed resilience with a strong 21-point final quarter, the early dominance of CNSS proved decisive as they maintained a comfortable margin throughout to secure a confident and commanding start to their WBLA season.
Ketia Mbelu (164-PG-2001) and Lalla Traore (2001) netted 13 points each to pace the winners. Tadiwa Mabika (174-F-2001) replied with 16 points in a loss.
