Foxes Divas - APR Women BBC 51-89

APR Women BBC continued their dominant run in the FIBA Women’s Basketball League Africa 2025 Qualifiers, overpowering Foxes Divas with a commanding 89–51 victory. APR came out firing, setting the tone early with a 27–12 first-quarter lead through sharp perimeter shooting and aggressive defense. They maintained their intensity into the second quarter, extending the advantage to 47–26 by halftime. The third quarter saw APR completely take control, outscoring Foxes 21–9 as their fast breaks and interior play proved unstoppable. Despite a late effort from the Foxes Divas in the final quarter, APR’s depth and balanced attack ensured a comfortable win. The result underscored APR’s status as a top contender in the qualifiers, showcasing their cohesion, energy, and scoring depth on both ends of the court.
Kamba Diakite (172-G-1999) top-scored for the winners with 23 points, whilst Yacine Diop (178-G/F-1995, college: Louisville) and Italee Lucas (172-G-1989, college: UNC) had 15 each. Evelyne Nakiyingi (168-G-1998) answered with 18 points in defeat.
