Magic Stormers Kampala adds Akello to their roster

Hope Akello

Magic Stormers Kampala (NBL) added 27-year-old international power forward Hope Akello (183cm-1997) to their roster. She played this summer at JKL Dolphins and has been with them for the last eight years. Akello helped them win the League title four times. She had an impressive season, being voted Afrobasket.com All-Ugandan League Player of the Year, Afrobasket.com All-Ugandan League Defensive Player of the Year, and Finals MVP. She has been regularly called to the Ugandan Senior National Team since 2019.
Akello is a very experienced player.
