F.A.P Women - Overdose Up Station 68-59

F.A.P Women punched their ticket to the WBLA 2025 Finals with a hard-fought 68-59 win over Overdose Up Station in the Women’s Basketball League Africa Qualifiers. Overdose started strong, edging the first quarter 17-14, but FAP responded with consistency and composure, leveling the game by halftime at 28-29. The turning point came in the third quarter, where FAP surged ahead with a dominant 23-point display, seizing control of the tempo and scoreboard. Despite Overdose’s efforts in the final frame, FAP maintained their lead and closed out the win. With this result, FAP not only remain unbeaten in the qualifiers but also secure their spot in the 2025 WBLA Finals, reaffirming their status as a top force in African women’s basketball.
Raissa Mogoun (167-PG-1993) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Nkem Akaraiwe (185-F-1996) netted 14. Larissa Mbong (186-F-1990) answered with 18 points in defeat.
