She received multiple other awards, was voted the Forward of the Year and was selected to the First Team.
Kane helped Kane's team have an undefeated season as Al Ahly Cairo was not challenged in the league with a perfect 3 to 0 in the regular season.
Her best performance made her team reach the final but they lost against Clube Ferroviaro da Maputo 72 to 81.
Kane was the Player of the Week honoree in the league.
She averaged 13 points and over 6 rebounds per game in the league.
Kane's 19 points against Ville de Dakar were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Shaina Pellington, Canadian guard APR BBC Kigali from Rwanda, was selected as the Guard of the Year of African Women Basketball League.
She graduated from the Arizona last year.
Pellington was also chosen to the First Team.
She recorded 6 rebounds per game that season in the league.
Pellington led the African Women Basketball League in points per game with over 18.

Raneem Elgedawy, 27-year old power forward Al Ahly Cairo from Egypt, was honored as the Center of the Year at the African Women Basketball League.
She is the Western Kentucky alumna from 2021.
Elgedawy was also named to the First Team.
She helped Elgedawy's team have an undefeated season as Al Ahly Cairo was not challenged in the league with a perfect 3 to 0 in the regular season.
Elgedawy's best performance made her team reach the final but they lost against Clube Ferroviaro da Maputo 72 to 81.
She registered over 13 points and 7 rebounds per game over the season in the league.
Elgedawy's 19 points against Clube Ferroviaro da Maputo were the most she scored in the 2024 season.

The standout forward Ingvild Mucauro earned a spot in the First Team of the championship-winning Clube Ferroviaro da Maputo from Mozambique.

Mucauro's excellent performance assisted her team in beating the Al Ahly 81 to 72 in the final.
She was previously voted to the Second Team last year.
Mucauro averaged over 12 points and almost 8 rebounds per game in the league.
Her 18 points against the Al Ahly were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Among many awards she was selected to the Afrobasket All-African Champions Cup First Team back in 2019.
She was also selected to the Afrobasket All-FIBA African Women Basketball Second Team in 2023.
Mucauro was selected as the Afrobasket All-FIBA African Champions Cup Honorable Mention in 2022.
Kamite Dabou, 20-year old Malian forward ASC Ville de Dakar from Senegal, was selected to the First Team of African Women Basketball League.
She had over 14 points and 9 rebounds per game that season in the league.
Dabou recorded double-doubles in 3 games during the event.
Her 20 points against the Al Ahly were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
7 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
Despite her young age she had an impressive career.
She was selected to the Afrobasket All-FIBA Under 18 African Championship Second Team in 2022.
