The guests were already 17 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 22-14 Al Ahly's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 81-72 at the end of the game. Guard Silvia Veloso (170-1998, college: Cumberlands) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and forward Ingvild Mucauro (176-1992) accounted for 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals. Ferr.Maputo's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
