Al Ahly Sporting rout Vijana Basketball Club in Tanzania at the Women's Basketball League Africa Qualifiers 2024. The favorites erupted with a massive 145-52 win. Al Ahly managed to score 50 points in the third quarter and dominated the whole game.
Nadine Soliman (178-G-1998, college: UNCG) top-scored for the winners with 35 points and Meral Abdelgawad (180-G-1998, college: WKU) netted 26. Raneem Elgedawy (193-F-1997, college: WKU) followed them with 23 points. Taudencia Oluoch (189-C-1995, college: ACU) answered with 13 points and Lavender OPONDO had 11.
