Tiffany Mitchell agreed terms with REG BBC for the 2023 FIBA Africa Women's Basketball League

The 29-year-old USA ex-international 175cm point guard Tiffany Mitchell, who played college basketball at S.Carolina, recently signed with BBC (D1) to part in the 2023 FIBA Africa Women's Basketball League


She most recently played for Galatasaray in the Turkish KBSL, where she had impressive stats last season, averaging 17.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.3apg, and 1.7spg in three games. She also played four games in Eurocup, averaging 15.8ppg, 8.0rpg, 3.3apg, and 1.0spg.

In 2016, she was drafted by the Indiana Fever in the first round, 9th overall, in the WNBA.
She graduated from the University of South Carolina, and this will be her eighth season in professional basketball. She was a member of the USA Senior National Team from 2015 to 2020.

She is a highly experienced player who has traveled extensively throughout her professional career, playing in five different countries on three different continents. She has previously played professionally for the Boomers in Australia, Elitzur Ramla in Israel, Nadezhda in Russia, Mersin BSB, Kayseri, and Ormanspor in Turkey, and the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA. In 2023, her team reached the semifinals of the Australian WNBL.

Among the many awards she received, she was given the ESPNW All-NCAA Division I Third Team award and was voted for the WBCA NCAA Division I All-America Honorable Mention in 2016.
