Kenya Ports Authority inks Antoinette Bannister

Antoinette Bannister

Kenya Ports Authority (Premier League) agreed terms with 30-year old Jamaican international swingman Antoinette Bannister (178cm-1993, college: ECU). She played this summer at Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in Nicaraguan LSBF. In 15 games just recently she had very impressive stats: 20.9ppg, 5.1rpg, 6.4apg and 3.1spg. She was also named League Player of the Week (3 times) and named to Latinbasket.com All-Nicaraguan LSBF First Team. The last season she played at Partizani in Albania league. She also played 8 games in Albania where she recorded 10.8ppg, 1.9rpg, 4.9apg and 2.4spg. She helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals. 2022-23 was a great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Albanian League Second Team. She was a member of Jamaican Senior National Team back in 2017.
She has played previously professionally in Mexico (Phoenix) and Portugal (Carnide and Clube Desportivo Escola Francisco Franco). She won Liga Unike championship title in 2023.
She graduated from East Carolina University in 2017 and it will be her eighth season as a professional player. She played for other colleges like: University of Florida, University of North Carolina.
