Mali and Nigeria advance into Final in South Africa

Mali cruised past Cameroon to seal the championship game berth. Mali registered a 40-20 halftime lead. They exploded with 63 points in the second half and marched to the victory. Oummou Koumare (176-F-2006) and Mama Doumbia (175-G-2007) posted 24 points each for Mali. Damaris Emedie (192-C-2007) answered with 18 points and 11 rebounds for Cameroon.

Nigeria - Uganda 71-67
Nigeria held off Uganda to advance into the Final in South Africa. Nigeria piled up a 45-39 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 7-point mark at the final break. Uganda held their opponents to just 10 points in the fourth stanza but could not avert the defeat. Idubamo Beggi (2006) provided 23 points to lead Nigeria. Resty Nanangwe (2007) answered with 16 points and 12 rebounds for Uganda.
