Egypt and Mali to clash for title in Madagascar

Egypt - Madagascar 98-66
Egypt knocked down Madagascar to advance into the title game. Madagascar recorded a 43-41 halftime lead. But Egypt ignited massive 57-23 second half run to ease to the victory. Jana Elalfy (192-C-2005) posted 34 points and 10 rebounds, while Jana Sallman (189-F-2006) added 21 points and 11 rebounds in the victory. Kristina Rakotobe (2005) answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds for Madagascar.

Mali - Angola 67-36
Mali thumped Angola in the semifinal clash. Maimouna Haidara (181-PF-2004) stepped up with 22 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge. Mali posted a 34-21 halftime lead. They held Angola to just 15 points in the second half to cruise to the victory. Kamite Dabou (179-F-2004) had 14 points for Mali. Arminda Joaquim (2006) answered with 10 points for Angola.
