Mali ease past Senegal to remain perfect in Cairo

Mali registered the fourth straight win at the U18 AfroBasket. They knocked down Senegal to stay undefeated in Cairo. Diarrah Sissoko (175-G-02) provided 22 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
Senegal grabbed an 18-13 lead after the first period. Mali however quickly gained control. They answered with a 16-6 run in the second term to take a 29-24 halftime lead. Mali followed with a 20-8 rally in the third term to open a comfortable 17-point lead at the final break. Mali sank 25 points in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Mariam Coulibaly (179-F-04) and Saran Berthe (170-G-02) tossed in 12 points each for Mali. Fanta Gassama answered with 11 points and 7 rebounds for Senegal.
