Mali coast Senegal for second straight win in Cairo

Mali recorded the second consecutive win at U18 AfroBasket. They smashed Senegal to stay perfect at 2-0. Diarrah Sissoko (175-G-02) accounted for 16 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds in the victory.
Senegal got to a confident start. They secured a 13-10 lead after ten minutes. Mali however responded with an 18-8 run in the second period to take a 28-21 halftime lead. Mali held their opponents to just 16 points in the second half and cruised to the victory. Alima Kouyate (175-G-02) finished with 14 points and 20 boards for Mali. Senegal answered with 10 points from Khadija Faye (193-C).
