Mali open title defence with rout of Egypt

Mali victoriously opened U18 AfroBasket campaign. The defending champions smashed Egypt in Cairo today. Diarrah Sissoko (175-G-02) provided 14 points to lead the winners.
Mali recorded an 18-7 lead ten minutes into the game. They held Egypt to just 6 points in the second frame to open a 32-13 halftime lead. Mali followed with a 23-7 run in the third quarter to clear off for good. Saran Berthe (170-G-02) produced 13 points for Mali. Hala Yassine (170-PG-03) replied with 9 points for Egypt.
