Rwanda held off DR Congo in the quarterfinal clash. Rwanda posted a 24:21 halftime lead. They managed to withhold a comeback rally from DR Congo in the second half and marched to the victory. Beila Murekatete had 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Ineza Sifa (02) added 12 points for the winning side. Naomie Bonga (00) answered with 18 points for DR Congo.
Cape Verde - Mali 21-78
Mali outgunned Cape Verde to secure the semifinal berth. They dominated from start to finish. Mali recorded a 25:9 halftime lead. They held Cape Verde to just 12 points in the second half to ease to the win. Gnere Dembele (186-C-00) scored 25 points, while Assetou Sissoko (183-SG-00) added 24 points for the winners.
