Egypt - Angola 56-39
Egypt recorded the third straight victory at the tournament. The hosts outgunned Angola to stay undefeated. Meral Abdelgawad (181-F-98) finished with 17 points to lead the winners. Angola eked out a 9:8 lead after ten minutes. But Egypt picked up the tempo in the next quarters. The hosts surged ahead for a 29:16 halftime lead. Egypt stretched the margin at 18-point mark heading into the fourth term and never looked back en route to the win. Nadine Rehan (182-F/C-98) had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Neusa Candido (160-PG-98) responded with 11 points for Angola.

Group B
Mozambique - Uganda 76-48
Mozambique rallied past Uganda to improve at 2-1 record in Group B. Delma Zita (163-PG-98) notched 18 points to lead the winners. Mozambique jumped to a 53:15 halftime advantage. Uganda outscored Mozambique in the second half but just sweetened the pill at the end. Silvia Veloso (172-G-98) had 14 points for the winners. Brenda Ayere (98) responded with 16 points for Uganda.
