Cote d'Ivoire withdraw from the tournament

Cote d'Ivoire will not compete at the FIBA Africa U18 Women's Championship taking place from 26 August - 4 September in the Egyptian capital city of Cairo. The country's basketball federation confirmed the team's absence at the continental youth event in light of internal difficulties. As a result of their absence, and according to FIBA Africa's rules, Cote d'Ivoire will be credited with forfeits and all of the results of their games in the competition will be nullified.
