They stormed past the hosts today to earn the trophy. Egypt piled up a 41-21 halftime lead. Egypt then followed with a 20-12 rally in the final period to conquer the title. Angola U18 - Egypt U18 43-69 Egypt rout Angola 69-43 in the opener of the U18 African Championship. They opened the game with a 17-5 lead and dominated the rest of the game. Egypt ensured a bigger lead due to a 16-9 surge in the third quarter and nailed 27 points in the third period. Mohamed Hendy top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Khaled Omar notched 14.
