ASC Ville de Dakar - Ferroviario Maputo 53-62

Ferroviario Maputo posted second straight win at the Champions Cup. They overcame ASC Ville de Dakar 62-53 in Maputo. Ferroviario Maputo opened the game with a 17-12 run and erupted with a massive 26-11 surge in the second half. ASC Ville de Dakar was too far to give up and replied with two wins in the second half. It was enough however to reduce to 9 final points.
Stefania Chiziane (179-F-1996, college: Highland, KS) top-scored for the winners with 13 points and Anabela Cossa (172-G-1986) brought 11. Fatoumata Traore (197-F-2001) replied with 14 in defeat and Ndoumbe Mbodj (1995) nailed 13.
