Kenya Ports Authority celebrated initial win in Maputo as they defeated Energie BBC 83-45. Kenya Ports Authority improved to a 1-2 record, whilst Energie BBC dropped at 0-3. Kenya Ports Authority looked better from the start and started with a 21-9 run. They dominated the whole game and won all the quarters.
Madina Okot (196-F) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Ifunaya Okoro (180-F-1999) netted 16. Ramouziath Agbayizo (2002) replied with 16 points and 13 rebounds in a loss.
