Sporting secured second win in Group B of the Champions Cup. They overcame APR BBC 89-68 for a 2-0 record. Sporting won the first period 26-18 and led 8 points at the halftime. The Egyptian side nailed 30 points in the third quarter to dominate the game.
Hagar Amer (184-F-1993) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Cierra Dillard (176-G-1996, college: Buffalo) delivered 20. Assouma Uwizeye (F-1996) ended up with 16 points in the losing effort and Martine Umuhoza posted 13.
