Italee Lucas (172-SG-1989, college: UNC) paced Inter Clube to a successful start at the Champions Cup in Maputo. She nailed 18 points as her team from Angola won 76-50 over Kenya Ports Authority.
Inter Clube won the first period 14-10 and dominated the rest of the game adding the victories in each quarter. Cristina Matiquite (191-C-1992) delivered 14 points in a win, whilst Cacia Antonio (162-G-2001) brought 12. Ifunaya Okoro (180-F-1999) replied with 20 points in a loss, whilst Jemimah Omondi posted 12.
