V Club outgunned INSS to advance into the semifinal stage. Alliance Ndiba (99) came up with 21 points and 17 rebounds to pace the winners. V Club grabbed a 31:21 halftime lead. V Club went on a 47:22 run in the second half to race to the victory. Ortice Kabobo (188-C-87) had 19 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Cecile Mukoso (177-F-86) replied with 15 points for INSS.
First Bank - FAP DE Yde 69-66
First Bank held off FAP De Yde en route to the semifinal stage in Maputo. Aisha Mohammed (191-C-85, college: Virginia) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds in the victory. FAP De Yde and First Bank were tied at 32. First Bank took a 5-point lead at the final intermission. FAP De Yde narrowed the gap in the fourth stanza but could not avoid the loss. Nkem Akaraiwe (185-F-96) had 15 points in the victory. Sandrine Meyini (177-SF-90) replied with 16 points for FAP De Yde.
Ferroviaro M. - KPA 73-40
Ferroviaro punched their semifinal ticket as they cruised past KPA tonight. Anabela Cossa led well-balanced effort with 15 points. Ferroviaro posted a 38:11 halftime lead. KPA narrowed the distance in the third period but not for long. Ferroviaro went on a 15:7 run in the fourth quarter to ease to the victory. Cierra Robertson-Warren (193-C-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) had 10 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Jamila Nansikombi (184-SG-97) and Brigid Nyongesa (83) replied with 8 points each for KPA.
Inter-Clube - MB2ALL 84-46
Inter-Clube stormed past MB2ALL to seal the semifinal berth. Rosemira Daniel (172-G/F-93) notched 22 points to lead the charge. Inter-Clube piled up a 39:17 halftime advantage. Inter-Clube followed with a 28:14 run in the third term to clear off for good. Amanda Thompson (185-F-87, college: Oklahoma) tossed in 12 points in the win. Sydonie Andriamihajanirina (175-PF-95) replied with 9 points for MB2ALL.
