ASS Sale celebrated their first African Champions Cup title. They upset hosting ES Rades for the historic trophy. ASS Sale trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 19-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. ASS Sale dominated on the defensive end, holding ES Rades to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded ES Rades 37-23 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by ES Rades helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Abderrahim Najah (198-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Belgian point guard Yassine El-Mahsini (186-93, agency: Promotex) who added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Mohamed Hadidane (207-86, agency: 011 Sports) responded with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Omar Abada (189-93) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.

Libolo - US Monastir 74-77

US Monastir stepped onto the podium in Rades. They topped Libolo to clinch Bronze medals. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 8-point deficit before their 23-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. The winners were led by American-Puerto Rican guard Kyle Vinales (185-92, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who scored that evening 12 points, 9 assists and 4 steals and DR Congolese power forward Evariste Shonganya (204-92, agency: Promotex) supported him with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Even 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard JeKel Foster (194-83, college: Ohio St., agency: Inception Sports) did not help to save the game for Libolo. Center Divaldo MBunga (206-85, college: Montana St.) added 8 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

City Oilers overcame Fer.Beira to finish fifth at the tournament. After very bad start, Fer.Beira stormed back in the second period cutting the deficit to 1 point 43-42. But it was not enough and City Oilers took back the control in second half. The winners were led by American-Ugandan power forward ADarius Pegues (208-88, college: Campbellsville) who scored that evening 23 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Robinson Opong (190-89, college: Rogers St.) supported him with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Even 28 points by Ismael Nurmamad (-91) did not help to save the game for Fer.Beira. David Canivete (193-89) added 11 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Fer.Beira's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Interclube wrapped up their campaign on a high note as they handled GS Petroliers. The game without a history. Interclube led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by Egidio Ventura (-90) who scored that evening 24 points and 8 rebounds and center Miguel Kiala (204-90) supported him with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Four Interclube players scored in double figures. Interclube's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 30 points by forward Abdellah Hamdini (200-92) did not help to save the game for GS Petroliers. ForwardMohamed Harath (198-90) added 16 points for the guests.
