Group AAl Ahly - C Africain 79-74Al Ahly claimed the second straight win in Cairo. They overcame Club Africain in overtime tonight. Ibrahim El Gamal (190-SG-88) came up with 22 points to pace the winners. Al Ahly registered a 38:32 halftime lead. But Club Africain denied the deficit in the third term and eked out a one-point advantage. Al Ahly however managed to force overtime. They sank 14 points in the extra period and raced to the win. Tarek El-Sayed (211-C-78) accounted for 12 points and 15 rebounds in the victory. Kyle Vinales (185-G-92, college: Cent.Conn.St.) responded with 31 points for Club Africain. ASS Sale - BEAC 91-71 ASS Sale rallied to the second straight victory at the tournament. They beat BEAC Basketball to remain undefeated. Brandon Freeman (191-G-83, college: UALR, agency: Promotex) scored 23 points to lead the winners. ASS Sale secured a 27:14 lead after the opening frame. The Moroccan team dropped 27 points in the third term to open an 18-point lead at the final intermission. ASS Sale never looked back afterwards cruising to the victory. Abderrahim Najah (198-F/C-84) accounted for 19 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Pierre Essome responded with 22 points for BEAC.
