Emmanuel Quezada (188-PG-85, college: USF) stepped up with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the Angolan team. Nzui Manto eked out a 39:38 halftime lead. But 1 De Agosto surged ahead in the second half. They unloaded 48 points after the big break and rallied to the win. Islando Manuel (192-F-91) chipped in 14 points in the victory. Felix Bogmis (192-G-92) responded with 17 points for Nzui Manto. Group BLibolo - GS Petroliers 93-84Libolo knocked down GS Petroliers for the first victory in Group B. Valdelicio Joaquim (208-C-90, college: Hawaii, agency: BeoBasket) produced 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Angolan team. Libolo jumped to a 48:40 halftime lead. Libolo dropped 45 points in the second half and secured an important victory in Cairo. Je'Kel Foster (194-G-83, college: Ohio St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 24 points in the win. Isaac Wells (203-PF-85, college: Arkansas St.) responded with 16 points and 10 rebounds for GS Petroliers. |
