MICHAEL ROLL
Here is the weekly review of the top performing Tunisian players, who play currently abroad.

Michael Roll
Michael Roll
#1. This week's number one is former international shooting guard Michael Roll (198-87, college: UCLA, currently plays in Israel). He was the major contributor in a Maccabi T-A's victory against the seventh-ranked Maccabi Rishon (7-9) 85-74 in the Israeli Winner League in Monday night's game. Roll recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists in 25 minutes on the court. Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv (13-3) is placed first in the Winner League. It's Roll's first season with the team. This year he averages: 9.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.8apg, 2FGP: 73.5% (25-34), 3FGP: 40.5% and FT: 75.0% in 11 games he played so far. Roll is a naturalized American. He played for the Tunisian senior national team two years ago. Strangely Roll has never played in Tunisia.

Makram Ben Romdhane
Makram Ben Romdhane
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Makram Ben Romdhane (204-89, currently plays in Lebanon). He led Homenetmen to a victory over the fourth-ranked Sagesse (13-7) 94-79 in a derby game in the Lebanese LBL last Thursday. Ben Romdhane was MVP of the game. He recorded 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Homenetmen Beirut (16-3) is placed first in Group A. Ben Romdhane's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical. Ben Romdhane has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.6ppg, 9.1rpg, 2.7apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 61.2% (112-183), 3FGP: 28.1% and FT: 59.5%. Ben Romdhane is in the roster of the Tunisian senior national team.

Salah Mejri
Salah Mejri
#3. The Tunisian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Salah Mejri (217-86, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Dallas Mavericks (18-38) in their last game. Despite Mejri's good performance the Dallas Mavericks (18-38) were badly defeated 121-103 on the road by the Golden State Warriors. He scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 17 minutes. This year Mejri's overall stats are: 3.8ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.2bpg, 2FGP: 66.9% (79-118) and FT: 57.1% in 50 games. He played for the Tunisian national team three years ago.

Wassef Methnani
Wassef Methnani
#4. Power forward Wassef Methnani (198-98, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to Fairfield's surprising victory against the Siena College (8-5) 78-65 in the NCAA in Tuesday night's game. Methnani scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The Fairfield University has 5-6 conference record this season. There are only three games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Methnani's total stats this season are: 5.9ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.2apg. He used to play for the Tunisian U19 national team back in 2015.

The list of other players, who all have Tunisian passport but never been selected to any of Tunisian national teams:

#1. Yassin Debache (208-C, agency: Athleadz, college: UQAM, currently plays in Germany). Debache could not help Titans (10-10) to beat Karlsruhe SC (3-17). He scored only 4 points in 13 minutes. The seventh-placed Titans (10-10) was crushed 87-65 on the road by the lower-ranked (#12) Karlsruhe SC in the South group. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Debache's total stats are: 2.7ppg and 1.7rpg in six games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Tunisian and French.

#2. Ahmed Salman was not able to help Al-Muharraq in their game against Al-Hala (16-8) in the Bahrain Premier League. Salman scored 6 points and added 3 passes. Al-Muharraq was defeated 70-63 in Muharraq by the lower-ranked Al-Hala (#6). The Regular Season already ended. Salman's total stats this season are: 8.8ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.5apg.
