Spain overwhelmed Tunisia in Tenerife at their preparation for Eurobasket 2017 campaign. The hosts did not leave any chances for the opponents in a 71-45 win.
Spain opened the game with a 16-11 start and added a 19-13 rally in the second frame. Moreover Spain posted a 17-13 run in the third period and limited Tunisia to just 8 points in the last stanza.
Juancho Hernangomez (206-PF-95) stepped up with 13 points, while Pau Gasol (213-F/C-80) and Pierre Oriola (206-F/C-92) delivered 11 each. Mourad Mabrouk finished the game with 10 points in the losing effort as h was the only one in double digits. Zied Channoufi posted 9 and Mokhtar Ghayaza Med (204-C-90) added 8.

Union Sportive Monastir picked up their second win at the 2017 FIBA Africa Champions Cup after overcoming ASB Mazembe 91-67 on Tuesday. The first half was a contest with Monastir winning the first quarter 20-17 while Mazembe won the second 21-17.
