US Monastir secured a home-win over ES Sahel 73-59 at a Tunisia's Basketball Championship super playoff second-leg semi-final played on Saturday afternoon. The disciplinary commission of the Tunisian Basketball Federation (FTBB) had inflicted the penalty loss to US Monastir after withdrawing in the firs-leg semi-final. The match, played in Sousse, was stopped two seconds from the end following the withdrawal of the visitors in protest against a referee decision, while the score was 65-64 for ES Sahel. The two teams having each secured a win each will have to play a decider for a place in the final on April 18 in Sousse. For their part, defending champions ES Rades qualified for the final after defeating ES Goulette 103-79 at the second-leg semi-final on Saturday in La Goulette. ES Rades had also won at the first-leg played last Monday in Rades. The game was stopped at the end of the first half, while the local club were leading 51 to 32.
