Division I Round 7: Ezzahra beats JS Manazeh by two after a very close game - Oct 12, 2016

The most exciting game of round 7 in the Division I took place in Manazeh. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 4th placed JS Manazeh (2-4) to sixth ranked Ezzahra (2-4) 79-77 in the game for the fourth place. Ezzahra moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated JS Manazeh. JS Manazeh lost third consecutive game.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked U.S. Monastir (4-2) against fifth ranked AS Hammamet (3-3) on Tuesday night. Visiting U.S. Monastir was defeated by AS Hammamet in Hammamet 66-56. AS Hammamet moved-up to fourth place. U.S. Monastir at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Stade Nabeulien and JS Kairouan.
An interesting game for Club Africain (6-0) which played road game in Nabeul against 3rd placed Stade Nabeulien (4-2). Leader Club Africain managed to get a 10-point victory 63-53. Undefeated Club Africain have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 6-0 record, which they share with ES Rades. Loser Stade Nabeulien dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with US Monastir and JS Kairouan.

Cheminots left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with ESG. Newly promoted Stade Gabesien keeps the fourth position with four games lost.

They maintain first place with 6-0 record, which they share with C Africain. DSG lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fourth position with four games lost.

In the last game of round 7 winless US Ansar was smashed by JS Kairouan on the road 74-44.

Stade Gabesien - CS Cheminots 62-85

We should not miss a road victory of seventh ranked C.S. Cheminots (1-5) who rolled over 4th placed Stade Gabesien (2-4) by 23 points 85-62. C.S. Cheminots left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with ESG. Newly promoted Stade Gabesien keeps the fourth position with four games lost.
