The game between third ranked DSG (2-2) and fifth ranked JS Kairouan (2-2) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. DSG was defeated by JS Kairouan in a tough game in Kairouan 71-80. JS Kairouan moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated DSG. JS Kairouan is looking forward to face JS Manazeh (#4) on the road in the next round. DSG will play against the league's second-placed ES Sahel in Sousse and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Division I top team - ES Rades (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked US Ansar (0-5) 74-49. ES Rades have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-0 record, which they share with US Monastir and C Africain. Newly promoted US Ansar still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with CS Cheminots. ES Rades will play against Ezzahra (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. US Ansar will have a break next round.
Division I top team - Club Africain (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed sixth ranked ESG (1-4) in Tunis 79-41. Club Africain have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 4-0 record, which they share with US Monastir and ES Rades. ESG at the other side keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Club Africain will meet league's second-placed U.S. Monastir on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ESG will play against AS Hammamet (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked C.S. Cheminots (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to leader U.S. Monastir (4-0) 64-54. U.S. Monastir have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with C Africain and ES Rades. C.S. Cheminots at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. U.S. Monastir's next round opponent will be league's leader Club Africain in Tunis and it will be for sure the game of the week.
The game in Ezzahra was also quite interesting. Second ranked ES Sahel (4-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Ezzahra (1-3). ES Sahel defeated Ezzahra 74-63 on Wednesday. ES Sahel have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 4-1 record having just one point less than leader C Africain. Loser Ezzahra dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. ES Sahel will face DSG (#5) in the next round. Ezzahra will play against the league's leader ES Rades and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 5 AS Hammamet was destroyed by Stade Gabesien on the opponent's court 98-74.

US Ansar - ES Rades 49-74

Division I top team - ES Rades (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked US Ansar (0-5) 74-49. ES Rades have a solid series of four victories in a row. Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Stade Gabesien and 4th placed AS Hammamet had identical 1-2 record. This time Stade Gabesien used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Hammamet 98-74 on Tuesday night. Stade Gabesien (2-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser AS Hammamet dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Stade Gabesien will face Stade Nabeulien (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
