Etoile du Sahel (Division I) landed 28-year old American forward Bill Clark (196-96kg-88, college: Duquesne, agency: HMS). He played most recently at Caen Basket Calvados in French NM1 league. In 30 games he averaged 14.4ppg, 7.1rpg, 5.3apg and 1.1spg last season. Clark helped them to make it to the semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-French NM1 Honorable Mention.
The previous (14-15) season Clark played at Donar Groningen in Eredivisie where in 22 games he had 9.5ppg, 6.8rpg, 3.0apg and 1.1spg. He contributed to his team winning the Cup and make to league final. Clark also spent pre-season at Provence Basket (ProB) in French league that year. In four games he recorded 11.8ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.8apg. The other team Clark played shortly was Al Nasr (SBL) in Saudi Arabian league. In four games he got 11.8ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.8apg.
Two years ago (three years after he left the college) Clark was drafted by Bakersfield Jam (D-League) in sixth round (107th overall).
He attended University of Duquesne until 2011 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Clark received NABC Division I All-District 4 1st Team award back in 2011 at his college time.
Clark is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Clark has played previously professionally in Cyprus (Keravnos), Turkey (Konyaspor), Ukraine (Mykolaiv) and D-League (Northern Arizona Suns).
