Mario Leonel Palma (EX African Club) is the new head coach of Al Manama !! - Jul 31, 2016

Al Manama club announced through social media that they signed with 66 years old Portuguese coach Mario Leonel Palma . the current head coach of Portugal National Team will arrive to Bahrain and start preparations with the club for upcoming season once he finishes his obligations with national team.
Coach Mario coached African Club in Tunisia last season and he won the league title there, he had long experience in Africa specially in Angola he coached Angola National Team between 1999 until 2005 and he won FIBA African championship four times 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005 beside his experience with Desportivo 1. De Agosto club there.
he also had experience in Asia when he coached Jordan National Team and helped them to reach world championship 2010, beside his experience with Zain local club there.

The match was really too tight until the last few seconds and thanks to the wisdom and change of the coach Adel Tlatli and the great match from Kelvin Mathius who scored 23 points. Congratulations for the team of ASM and EST for the accession in national 1 of the Tunisian championship. ASM beat the CAB team with just a single point difference of 63-62 at the play-off today. EST found in front of them a team also very strong and solid despite the lack of experience of all these players almost the BCM team and the final score were 63-57. After 33 years far from podioms finally Etoile du Rades won the championship this season against ESS after two successive wins. A good season from new recruits this season El Mabouk and Hadidane and the two Americans not to mention the most coach Adel Tlatli former coach of the national team and the experience of Amine Rzig and marouen kechrid and the golden Team boy Omar Abada.
