Dion Dixon
Club Africain Tunis (Division I) landed 28-year old American point guard Dion Dixon (190-89, college: Cincinnati). He played most recently at GS Kymis in Greek A1 league, but left. In only one game he had just 2 points, 1 assist and 2 steals last season.
The most of previous (2015-16) season Dixon spent at Marinos in Venezuelan LPB where in 11 games he averaged 11.6ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.9apg and 1.0spg. He also played that season for Sagesse (Pepsi LBL) in Lebanese league. In 8 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.5ppg, 3.8rpg and 3.9apg. Dixon helped them to make it to the cup final.
In 2013 (a year after he left the college) Dixon was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in fifth round (72nd overall).
He attended University of Cincinnati until 2012 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Dixon received Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Player of the Year award and Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Import of the Year award back in 2014.
He is a very experienced player. Dixon has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Dixon has played previously professionally in Cyprus (Petrolina AEK Larnaca), FYR Macedonia (MZT Skopje), NBA G League (Salt Lake City Stars) and Lebanon (Homenetmen).
